Having been vegetarian since the age of six (after learning what the chicken on my plate had been the day before - alive and happy) eating well and living healthily have always been important to me. Increasingly I became concerned about even using produce from animals, due to their treatment, but also due to the adverse effects of consuming it. So I made the switch to becoming vegan. It was a real learning curve (again) so I thought I would share my findings...
